Our beloved member, Tony Thompson, died last week. Our condolences to his wife, Claudine, and extended family. A memorial honoring Tony is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at Leak & Sons Funeral Home at 18400 South Pulaski Road in Country Club Hills. Visitation is between 6 and 7 p.m. The service will begin at 7

The new Literati Book group is focused on building diverse, equal and inclusive discussions. For the first monthly meeting, attendees read Timothy Snyder’s “On Tyranny”. Books are chosen by vote. Thanks to Jeff Pinzino and other helpers for scheduling our first season of concerts. Each concert brings in community members to our beautiful venue. We are already looking forward to Season Two!

Great news that our new replacement windows are installed. We are still working through the process to achieve disbursement this year of the State of Illinois grant (promised in 2019) to cover most of the cost.
