A Reconsideration of White Supremacy Culture                             Rev. Allen Harden

I believe that we live in a “White Supremacy Culture”, and that I, and most of us, benefit from the structural elements of racism that are embedded in American life. I also know that some of you would question this assertion. Let me describe what I see, and then we can examine whether our differences involve words or bigger ideas. Does the nature of racism in our community and our nation influence how we might approach racial differences in opportunity?
