John Donne wrote: “No man is an island, entire of itself. Each is a piece of the continent, a part of the main...Each man's death diminishes me, for I am involved in mankind.  Therefore, send not to know whom the bell tolls, it tolls for thee.” His words have always resonated, and cleaned up for gender-speak, make a smashing folk song. My personal theolog begins (and maybe ends) with probing how and why we interconnect, and how the actions and feelings that bind us together create a basis of meaning and purpose in our lives.
