About
Welcome!
Beverly Unitarian Church is a liberal religious community, without a creed or dogma, but having commonly held principles which it affirms and promotes. It is a religious fellowship open to all people - which you could call home. Our Sunday Worship Services begin at 10:30 a.m
We have services every Sunday in the summer and a summer "camp" for children during service hours. Please click on the links to the left for a schedule of our services and religious education program.
Our community includes an active Green Sanctuary Group, a Men's Group (Men of the Castle), a Women's Group (Women of the Castle), a book club, a Buddhist group and a vibrant Soclal Action committee. Please check out the links to the left for upcoming events.
We affirm and promote:
1. The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
2. Justice, equity, and compassion in human relations;
3 Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
4. A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
5. The right of conscience and use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
6. The goal of world community with peace, liberty, and justice for all;
7. Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
Our faith community is made up of individuals of all ages, races, economic circumstances, sexual orientations, and many religious backgrounds. As a community we embrace differing opinions, respond to human spiritual needs, cherish the integrity of the individual, and are dedicated to the common good in the community, nation and world.
You will find religious services and the services of a minister, religious education for the young and adults, and activities to enhance our community and environment. You are invited to join us as we support each other on our spiritual journeys, and celebrate life, each other, and our world!
