Come join the Women of the Castle as we host the Women's Connection for a luncheon and program on February 6, beginning at 12:00 noon on the second floor of the Castle. The Women’s Connection is the Unitarian Universalist Women’s Central Midwest District Board. The luncheon and program will be part of their annual meeting, which the BUC WOTC will host on February 6 and 7. Thanks to the women of our congregation who have volunteered to host these visitors overnight.

The program on February 6 will be “Conversations with Margaret Fuller” and will be followed by a question and answer period. This will be our chance to meet the members of this group and to ask them questions about the services they provide for women in the district. Winter Woman Spirit 2010 will take place February 26 to 28 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Let’s treat ourselves to this wonderful winter retreat. The theme of the weekend is “Nurturing Ourselves - Sustaining Our World.” World-renowned author and activist, Starhawk, will be the keynote speaker and will be one of the workshop presenters. She will also give the sermons at three Sunday services at the First Unitarian Society of Milwaukee.
