CELEBRATE YOUR WEDDING IN A UNIQUE HISTORICAL AND ARCHITECTURAL SETTING

The Beverly Unitarian Church, located in the Southwest side’s best known landmark building, is the perfect place for a special occasion. The castle on the hill, restored to simple elegance and function as a house of worship, offers a 100 seat sanctuary for wedding ceremonies, and a 70 seat reception hall with a fully equipped kitchen.

Set amidst the Beverly Ridge Historical District, the Church features warm, simple surroundings, restored woodwork, stained glass, and a winding oak staircase distinctive of Victorian architecture. Wedding ceremonies at Beverly Unitarian Church are tailored to the situation of each couple.

Choose from two ministers or your own to perform your ceremony, be it traditional, religious, or one you create. We also welcome same sex couples seeking civil unions.

Particular features of the space include:

Imagine walking down this beautiful carved oak staircase to your wedding ceremony or other service in a sacred but welcoming space.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            

 

 

 
The sanctuary features a carved oak mantle, movable lecturn, speaker system and seating for 100 guests.
The main door faces east overlooking the Ridge and an expanse of lawn, oak trees and flowers. This setting is beautiful all four seasons.

The front entrance features a stone arch. The south entrance faces a terrace and the back entrance leads out to the parking lot. 

Handicap access is available from the parking lot to the west entrance.

The foyer has two washrooms and a large coat rack.

The exterior of the Castle is as photogenic as the interior, making for many wonderful memories of a special day or event.
