Religious Education Committee

The Religious Education Committee is responsible for planning the curricula for the children during the church calendar. Religious education is offered to all children every Sunday between mid-September and mid-June.  Sunday "camp" is offered during the months of July and August. 

RE is looking for support from the whole BUC community to join us in representing our church at the Mother’s Day Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday May 8. We will in the church parking lot: the decorating crew at 7:30 am and a water and streamer crew at 8:00 am. This will be an energetic and fun morning and a great way to show your support if you aren’t walking! Pink prizes will be given to the first five people who show up to help! Parents are welcome to drop off their children.

On May 22 both RE classes will be creating an original work of art that will be auctioned off at the auction! Look for something fun and creative and get ready to raise your numbers! On May 29 and July 23 there will be no classes and the nursery will be closed.

Looking ahead, on June 26 there will be the Gems of Goodness end-of-year celebration and the UU Summer Camp will begin on July 10! Get ready for an exciting summer. Volunteers may be contacted and if you have any interesting ideas and time to contribute let Char Lichtenfeld or Amanda Price know./p>
