SUNDAY Morning Service Feb 28 at 10:30 AM
Member in the Pulpit: Judy Schader
Sermon: "All Beliefs are Limiting"
Whatever we look at, what we see, depends on how we look at it. If we look at a glass of water sitting on the table before us, we see clean drinkable water. If we look with a microscope, we see tiny paramecium swimming around in dirty water. If we peek at the table from the kitchen door, we see a messy table full of dishes and food. The way we look is a perspective or paradigm. Each observation is true and may serve us. Yet, no one observation is the complete truth.
Join us on https://www.youtube.com/user/beverlyunitarian at 10:30 AM.
The service can also be viewed at any time after 10:30.
The coffee hour link on Zoom for after the service will be posted on YouTube a the end of the service and via the Friday eBulletin.

Stewardship Campaign Kickoff - March 13
Our annual Stewardship Campaign kicks off Sunday, March 13, during the morning service, followed by brunch. Long time member, Rev. Ian Evison, and his daughter, Elizabeth, will lead the appeal, inspiring all of us to be generous in our annual pledges. The campaign features personal visits with congregants to determine their interests, needs and financial support.
Maundy Thursday Communion Service
On April 1, Maundy Thursday, Rev. Marcia Curtis will lead a UU Communion Service in the BUC sanctuary at 7:00pm. The service will celebrate our UU heritage, our connection to earth (bread) and to each other (wine), and the promise that love is stronger than death.
UU congregations have celebrated communion during Easter week all over the world for as long as Unitarianism and Universalism have been religions. Although communion in its traditional form is rarely practiced in Midwest UU churches, the BUC Worship Committee feels that communion has a legitimate place, spiritually and culturally, in our church.
The Worship Committee is hosting this service and will provide music and light refreshments. All are invited.
Pre-Service Church Development Task Force Meetings
The Church Development Task Force will meet every 2 weeks at 8:30AM before Sunday services, beginning February 14. This will be an open ended project. These meetings are for anyone who is interested in discussing the Architectural Feasibility Study recommendations, alternatives to the current church building and related financial issues. Contact Kristi Anderson for more information.
Buddhist Meditation
Reverend Marcia Curtis is temporarily canceling the Sunday evening meditation until further notice. For more information please click redlotussangha.org.
We hope to resume the meditation and dharma talks in the next few weeks.
Religious Education
Childcare for our youngest is available during services.
All children are welcome!
