Parking Lot Project Needs Contributions

At the annual congregational meeting on June 6, 2010, the congregation voted to allow the board to approve up to $50,000 for repaving the parking lot. This is a major project requiring donations and monetary contributions totalling at least $25,000 in order for the church to receive matching loans from Beverly Bank & Trust.

As of June 6, nearly $15,000 has been pledged or contributed. The Castle Pre-School parents have received a letter about donating to this project and more fundraising will be done over the next year.  The Castle parking lot is used by Rock Island RR commuters as well as for church and pre-school attended events.

BUC congregants and friends are encouraged to support this project and all pledges can be emailed to: .
