SUNDAY November 24 ~ 10:30 AM

Rev. David Schwartz
Sermon: "To Be a Person Among People
A celebration of the bonds of community that make life possible. In southern Africa the concept of Ubuntu means "I am because we are." As Unitarian Universalists we disavow the call to isolation: our work is to become a person among persons. We'll find the hope and strength that comes in recommitting to the common good, and join together for a communion in the Unitarian tradition: a remembrance and a recommitting.

Standing on the Side of Love ~ Sat. Nov. 28, 6 PM

Beverly Unitarian is opening its doors for anyone who might be in need. In the wake of injustice, we gather to know we are not alone. In the face of fear, we stand together stronger and more resolved. Instead of spreading hate we will continue to work for change. There will be music/conversation, perhaps planning and organizing, definitely community for whomever is here.
