Beverly Unitarian Church

         As minister of the Beverly Unitarian Church, I want to welcome you to our website.  Our church has a long history as a citadel of free religion and progressive social vision in southside Chicagoland.  We are a congregation of open heart and open mind, worshipping, learning, and working together in support of one another and for the larger good.  As an intentionally creedless church dedicated to democracy in religion and in the world, we encourage each person’s own pilgrimage, pursued in freedom of conscience, tested by reason and daily living.  We trust that sharing our religious diversity leads us toward a richer common understanding of the sacred and a greater unity of spirit. This in turn inspires our community service and efforts for social improvement, as we seek to realize the democratic vision in the larger community, that “…a world awaited become a world attained…”
