SUNDAY March 24 ~ 10:30 AM

Reverend David Schwartz
Sermon: "Building a New Way"
In 1838, Rev. Charles Follen preached for the first time to a group of Unitarians in Chicago hoping to build a new church. Privately, “he considered the collapse of their hopes, [and] their financial ruin as imminent and inevitable.” Almost 200 years later, we are here continuing the improbable and beautiful work of living into our mission to grow our spirits and heal the world. We’re building a new way as a congregation, and, concretely, we’re building a new way as keepers of the historic Givins’ Irish Castle.

Stewardship Drive Kickoff Lunch – Sunday March 24
Join your fellow congregants after the Sunday service with a catered lunch downstairs in the sanctuary to start off our annual stewardship drive. Time for good fellowship and sharing: What are your reasons for being part of Beverly Unitarian Church? What are your motivations for staying committed? Let's talk about it! Gather in hope to look back, to look ahead, and stay to kick off the pledge drive to support another year in the life of the congregation.

Our Church calendar is now on our website! See what’s happening and when at BUC. Check it out at beverlyunitarian.org.

Buddhist Meditation

Reverend Marcia Curtis invites you to participate in Buddhism-based meditation in a group setting. Join us Sundays at 7:30pm in the church sanctuary. Newcomers welcome. Meditation and Dharma talks are very week.
